2. Earth is the Center of the Universe? Full Movie

This is a follow up to Earth is the Center of the Universe? OP with the link to the full documentary entitled The Principle. It is really worth to watch it in its entirety just to get the sense of how cosmologist, like Lawrence Krauss, and many other scientists deliberately resist the data  (verified by 3 different probes) that Axis of Evil are pointing to the special location of the Earth in the Universe…

I also found it interesting in the movie that there is a lot of resistance to publish any papers that would contradict Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity, as mentioned in the documentary (I personally suspect that GTOR could be wrong or at least some aspects of it).

For those who would like to watch the the highlights, I especially recommend watching  the part at 35 min mark and on…

The idea that the Earth occupies no special or favored position in the cosmos has launched the last two scientific revolutions – the Copernican Revolution and Relativity – and, as Lawrence Krauss has said, we could be on the verge of a third, with “Copernicus coming back to haunt us”.– IMDB summary

The funniest part of the movie is when Michio Kaku relates:

“…today we don’t burn cosmologist alive…”– referring to the public execution of Giordano Bruno, who refused to comply with view of the universe held by the Catholic Church in 16th century…

But, what kind of treatment do scientist deserve today who refuse to comply with scientific data verified over and over again and continue to deceive the public because they built their careers on their faith rather than evidence?

How about public humiliation, such as turning man’s home into public privy, just like in the ancient times?

  1. timothya,

Does entanglement violate Einstein’s theory of relativity? It says that nothing, including information, can travel faster than light… but entanglement is instantaneous…
How about the accelerating expansion of the universe? Don’t some parts of it travel faster than light and more and more of it will as the universe continues to accelerate its expansion?

  2. timothya: What evidence do you have that cosmologists “resist” the findings of the CMB probes? Facts are facts, and the evidence is that the background radiation exists and that the dipole exists. The current cosmological theories incorporate its existence (are you unaware of these theories).

The head of the European Space Agency speaks of the resistance and ignorance. I didn’t make it up as you can see it yourself.

Big bang as a random, uncontrolled processes is byebyeo due to CMB showing direction in space…

  3. walto:
J-mac, you definitely should put Newton and everybody else who disagrees with you on ignore. You’re entirely uninterested in any view that’s not consonant with your own, and have convinced yourself that anybody espousing such a contrary view is doing so because they are unwilling to hear the TRUTH.

So it’s clearly more efficient to ignore them completely.

You had told me yourself newton is a waste of time… I agreed and listen to you. Have you changed your mind since then or you forgot to take your medications?

Wrong again. It is matter and energy that don’t move faster than the speed of light. Evidently space can and does expand faster than c, but space isn’t made of matter or energy. Gravity exerts its influence throughout the universe instantly that new matter comes into existence. Entanglement may belong to the same class of phenomena, as yet we don’t know.

That video simply says that the simplest throries of cosmic evolution don’t fit the facts uncovered by the Planck probe. Fantastic! There are new things to learn and understand. There is nothing in the video to support your claim that the process of universal evolution is controlled or directed at human life.

There is also nothing in the video to suggest any scientific “resistance” to, or “ignorance” of the new data. You are just making stuff up.

  6. J-Mac: You had told me yourself newton is a waste of time… I agreed and listen to you. Have you changed your mind since then or you forgot to take your medications?

You ,on the other hand , are a never ending source of amusement. Keep up the good work. Love the video.

  7. J-Mac: Does entanglement violate Einstein’s theory of relativity? It says that nothing, including information, can travel faster than light…

With the possible exception of bad news, if I recall correctly.

  8. J-Mac: You had told me yourself newton is a waste of time… I agreed and listen to you. Have you changed your mind since then or you forgot to take your medications?

Not sure what you mean. I’m telling you once again that it is an utter waste of your time to read Newton, who has nothing to say to you that will float your boat. You don’t even like to read things you agree with and absolutely hate the reasonable stuff! So yeah, it’s completely inefficient for you to read his posts. We’re in complete agreement on this. My posts, OTOH, you should keep reading–at least as long as you’re going back and forth on whether to read Newton’s posts. It’s weird that you can’t seem to understand this simple point, but I’m OK with reminding you now and then if necessary.

Anyhow, as the moral seems to be that you should keep reading my posts, I’ll keep them short and easy to understand. I know your time is valuable and that that is not the only limit we are all subject to. Indeed, it’s amazing to me that even with such human constraints as we are all under, your generosity seems UNLIMITED!

Re my medications, most of them are placebos, intended to help me not forget to take them. So anything’s possible. Thanks.

  9. walto: Re my medications, most of them are placebos, intended to help me not forget to take them. So anything’s possible. Thanks.

Placebo’s are the best stuff. I always ask for them, but sometimes they give me real medication by mistake. I always notice right away because they don’t work.

    O’RLY???
What could those theories be??? Can you recall one???

  11. Corneel: With the possible exception of bad news, if I recall correctly.

You are wasting my time and your ignorance is painful…

  12. timothya: Entanglement may belong to the same class of phenomena, as yet we don’t know.

So…You don’t know what to say?

  13. Corneel: timothya addressing J-Mac: You do know what the Planck scale is, don’t you?

And? What about it? Tell me something I don’t already know…

  14. Corneel: Do you know what optimism bias is?

I guess Cornmeal and Tymothya think Planck Scale is written in the stone and I should be afraid to question it… lol

  15. J-Mac: I guess Cornmealand Tymothya think Planck Scale is written in the stone and I should be afraid to question it… lol

    Oy vey

  16. newton: J-Mac: I guess Cornmealand Tymothya think Planck Scale is written in the stone and I should be afraid to question it… lol

    Oy vey

What do you mean?! He is not afraid. NOT AFRAID I tell you! Wherever it might be written, whether in the stone or the hedge, J-mac is not afraid to question it.

I really hope that, as I advised, he has ignored your comment, Newton. How are they benefiting him??

  17. J-Mac: Corneel: With the possible exception of bad news, if I recall correctly.

You are wasting my time and your ignorance is painful…

Your sense of humor is as amazing as your magnanimity, J-mac. I’m glad that you found some time for this edifying conversation.
