Additionally, in light of the grim future of humanity, here is your chance to express where you find meaning in human existence. Maybe all you have is just a search for amusement. Some are amused by science, some by phylogenies, some by mythology, some by sports, some by promoting YEC, some by flying airplanes, some by playing video games, some by running a business, whatever. Minimizing pain, maximizing good times seems a reasonable strategy for a lot things in life.
I suppose it would help if some go to heaven after this miserable world ends, but in the meantime, if you have the chance, you can also have a good time. Nothing wrong with going to casinos and having a good time eating and drinking and then going to church.
