It is time to say goodbye to J-Mac

As some on you have probably realized, the time comes for everyone to move on…
This time came for me…I believe it is in the best interests of everyone…without getting into any details.

I have learned a lot here. It was fun too…

For those who care, I have several time-consuming projects going both in my professional life and in my very rich life of the many hobbies… Interestingly, some of my hobbies became more that just that, and today pay many of my bills…I just hope that my new hobbies will not join the other side as there are only 24 hours in each given day.. 🙂

I wish you all well and please keep seeking the truth… wherever it leads you…

J-Mac

I’m sure in arenas other then this you are a towering intellect, destroying all comers with your insight and wisdom.

That or methinks thou doth protest too much.

  2. Can’t count the number of otherwise bright people who foundered on the rock of evolution.

It is, I think, a subspecies of wishing for eternal life.

Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Unfortunately, raging against reality is a thankless task.

Awh, man. You’re leaving right when it was getting really fun for me.

Have a good one, and God bless you.

It’s likely J-Mac is your target audience for your “creation science” so I can see why you will miss him. Uncritically swallowing anything just because you are on the same ‘side’ must be a desirable trait in your audiences.

  5. colewd,
Why? Can you name the top 3 things that J-Mac brought to the table? What did you learn from him?

Nah…I’m not that intelligent but wisdom is separate from intellect and does’t often go hand in hand… I have found…

However, if my ongoing small scale experiment is proven on larger scale, that might be an important breakthrough…
The metabolic and signaling pathway I have been studying and experimenting with is very simple, because all “components” involved in the processes are probably known…but nobody really knows the “whys”…

The disorder I have been studying affects billions of people…However, the related diseases can and often do lead to certain types of cancer… So, the impotence on my research and findings could have some serious implications, if proven right…

Ironically, in the relation to my research, I realized first hand that mutations can have some “positive effect” to an organism but often at the great cost to it’s fitness and developmental process often leading to the inability to reproduce, possible gender and sexuality “disruption” both physical and mental (homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual) though publishing such findings face many challenges due its social inappropriateness and controversy….

    Thanks colewd! 🙂

This is one of the nicest things someone told me on this blog…
I’ve always believed, and teach my children that too, if you apply the 3 in your life, even if it means facing adversities especially because of the 2, you can almost never go wrong…though one needs to be ready to have his views adjusted as his or her knowledge and application of it increases…

BTW: Just recently, someone well versed in the bible corrected my view (s)…
I had to eat my humble pie…and explain it to my kids that I may have been wrong about some of my views…

Do you think it was easy? No way!

In the end, if that turns out to be true, as it appears to be, I won’t mind it one bit…
I noticed that my wife may have been proud of me…though she didn’t say anything… 🙂

  9. stcordova: Awh, man. You’re leaving right when it was getting really fun for me.

Have a good one, and God bless you.

    Thank you Sal!

I have to admit, you are one of the smartest guys I have come across…
The way you handled Harshman and make him admit to the “…miraculous gene insertions into the tree of life…”, was superb… 🙂

The way you handled the “rape issue” from the biblical point was inspiring… 🙂

All I can say is to you is to quote Antony Flew who, as you well know, promoted atheism and the theory of evolution almost all his life…However, when he realized the astonishing complexity of the living system, he changed his mind and began to believe in an Intelligent Creator of life and universe…

    Why he changed his mind?

Flew: “My whole life has been guided by the principle of Plato’s Socrates: Follow the evidence, wherever it leads.”

If you do the same, and don’t compromise your well established beliefs based on as accurate knowledge as possible, you will never fail…

This principle, if applied properly, make you feel good and content…
I have experienced that first hand…though I realize I have a long way to go…:-)

    God bless you! 🙂

  10. petrushka: Can’t count the number of otherwise bright people who foundered on the rock of evolution.

Really? I you count me with them? How so?

It is, I think, a subspecies of wishing for eternal life.

I would never call anybody a “subspecies” because of many well known reason (Nazis). I’m not into wishful thinking at all…just in case you haven’t noticed yet…

There are two great benefits of learning something about quantum mechanics:

    1. “After you learn quantum mechanics, you are never really the same again.” Steven Weinberg Nobel Prize in Physics

    2. “After you realize some of the realities among the uncertainties of quantum mechanics, the reality of life or the unreality of eternal life, become more, a more real.”- Unknown author

Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

    Pretty sad…

Unfortunately, raging against reality is a thankless task.

If the reality is as you see it, or would like it to be, it surly can be daunting…
I thank God everyday I’m not one of those who go to bed everyday raging with this kind of certainty of reality…

  11. walto:
    Johnny, we hardly knew ye.

It’s true…as the real person…Hopefully some got to know some of my good qualities and not so great …which I’m working on I can assure you of that..though my wife would probably disagree lol

  12. GlenDavidson: If you’d simply learn how little you know, you’d be way ahead of where you are now.

    Glen Davidson

It is humbling to know how much you don’t know when you realize the vastness of knowledge of Someone who created the universe, life and the laws governing it…

  13. J-Mac, to Sal:

The way you handled Harshman and make him admit to the “…miraculous gene insertions into the tree of life…”, was superb…

    That didn’t happen.

The way you handled the “rape issue” from the biblical point was inspiring…

    He failed.

If you do the same, and don’t compromise your well established beliefs based on as accurate knowledge as possible, you will never fail…

Let me fix that for you:

If you do the same, and don’t compromise your well established beliefs with accurate knowledge, you will never have to face reality…

    J-Mac:

This principle, if applied properly, make you feel good and content…

    Ignorance is bliss.

  14. keiths,

Each time I read your comment it reminds me about this holistic healer from Seinfeld and the bliss I get on meditating on your misery…

Check it out at 3:15 mark:

    Have a nice life! 😉

  15. colewd:
Take care J-Mac.Hope this is a temporary LOA.

Temporary? I’ll probably check on TSZ from time to time….The next few months look very tight for me…
    Farewell colewd! 🙂

  16. J-Mac,

…the bliss I get on meditating on your misery…

What misery? I enjoy puncturing goofy belief systems like creationism, ID, and Christianity.

  17. J-Mac: possible gender and sexuality “disruption” both physical and mental (homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual) though publishing such findings face many challenges due its social inappropriateness and controversy….

Oh darling dear, You look so queer

  18. dazz: Oh darling dear, You look so queer

I thought you were queer because you kept bringing up something about homosexual-strippers…

  19. J-Mac: I thought you were queer because you kept bringing up something about homosexual-strippers…

How dare you? You armless… boneless… chickenless egg!

  20. dazz: DuckDuckGo

You wanna know something funny? When I was writing the piece of homosexuality/gender, I was thinking about who on this blog would respond to it…if at all…You wanna know who’s name pop into my mind? I knew I would push a sensitive button on you… 😉

  21. keiths: I enjoy puncturing goofy belief systems like creationism, ID, and Christianity.

You appear to not know what a “belief system” is.

  22. Mung: You appear to not know what a “belief system” is.

To resolve this very difficult issue, it is probably best to create a belief system that focuses on only on what belief system is…or should be…
Is that a reasonable concept? 😉

  23. I hope your not leaving because of bruised feelings. remember origin contentions are a contact sport.
no reason to completely jump ship. They can’t get rid of me but others leave seemingly in a huff.
If your research helps lead to answers on cancer etc then Lord bless.
    The billions do need help.
i always have trouble remembering the conclusions of posters who use funny names as opposed to their real names so I don’t know if your a creationist or evolutionist or what.?

  24. Robert Byers: bruised feelings

    Hello Robert!

I have to admit I almost jumped the ship without saying goodbye to you…I’m sorry…It was deliberate….
Regarding my feelings, they are kind of mangled up in the garbage disposal for now…Rob. Thanks for asking!

  25. Robert Byers: I don’t know if your a creationist or evolutionist or what.?

    All three Rob…

I always wanted to leave on a high note… 🙂

Thank you all! You have been great! That is it for me…Good night everybody

  26. J-Mac though publishing such findings face many challenges due its social inappropriateness and controversy….

Actually publishing your findings is easy. You just publish them. Can’t find a publisher? Host a PDF yourself.

Why don’t you ask KF at UD why he refuses to publish his groundbreaking “trillions of examples” work regarding FSCI? His excuses will be remarkably similar to yours.

Darwin published a book and changed the world. It seems you don’t have the same courage, despite knowing that Darwin was wrong and you are right.
